Princess Reyna Ludupie shattered the glass ceiling when she ascended to the throne as the Queen of Creatures of the Night, a powerful position traditionally reserved for men. Her father, the former king, accompanied her on a tour of all the werewolf packs worldwide in preparation for her coronation. He was adamant about keeping her identity a secret until the ceremony, fearing that her gender would be used against her.

Calen Osting, Alpha of the most feared and respected werewolf pack on the planet, knew that the royal court would be visiting his pack.
