When a witch turns sixteen, they will be granted a Familiar in order to gain their full power. But not for Brynne. Deep beneath her aloof and cold facade lies a burning desire to become the next Grand Witch of Syndaria. But without a Familiar, her dreams are only far-fetched.
She would do everything and anything for a Familiar. That is until Brynne stole a sword from the knight-in-training Uldren where she unlocked a powerful ability, perhaps more powerful than those with Familiars.
Unfortunately, wielding swords is frowned upon in witch-kind as it is only applied to the humans. Sh would have to give up her ability or face banishment. But Brynne is willing to prove that she can still be the next Grand Witch with her newfound abilities.
