A New Venture; A Stardew Valley FanFic
When she thought of her life as an artist, Aisleigh thought it would be absolutely divine. Her years at school did not prepare her, however, for the amount of work she would have to do getting herself "out there". Feel bogged down living in Zuzu City, she comes across an old letter left by her grandfather. Without a second thought, Aisleigh quickly quits her job at Joja Corporation and moves out to the countryside to her grandfather's farm, Ebony Acres. Excited to make a fresh start, the harsh reality of starting over hits her square in the face. Trying to keep a brave appearance, she works tirelessly to rebuild Ebony Acres up to it's former glory. When she sees a star twinkling late at night, it seems to be fate that Sebastian would stumble upon her land. He is rough around the edges, his words are sharp. But, something about his distant personality only makes her think about him more. This story is a bit different than anything else I've written, but we'll try it. The new farmer, you, you used to be in this town years ago. Back before your grandfather passed. You didn't talk much, you never made friends, it was only you and your grandfather. By moving back to the town you were afraid that people would talk, that they'd recognize you and say "that's not normal", you had more than just one single reason why you wanted to move to the Valley. a Stardew Valley fan fiction: The Proper Care and Feeding of Souls
So, I wrote this for myself, not expecting anyone else would ever read it. I needed it, so I wrote it. When I was done I figured maybe someone else might need it, too, so here it is. The beginning might feel heavy or boring, but please hang in there because just like life - the good stuff comes out of the dark stuff. Grace vowed to herself that she would rid herself of the broken, predictable life she had somehow fallen into and in its place, she would create a new life, one that truly fed her wanting soul. Reeling from an unthinkable experience, Grace moves to Stardew Valley, intent on recapturing the magic of her childhood. Instead, she finds herself on a ramshackle farm, void of childhood memories. Slowly, she discovers the true magic of the valley in the people who live there. A fanfic based on Stardew Valley, the video game. Jessie's grandfather passed away and left her his entire farm located in sleepy Stardew Valley. She throws caution to the wind and moves to the farm, leaving her life in Zuzu City behind. She makes friends fast and one of the locals catches her eye. Two problems though - she's kind of a bitch, and she's dating a douchebag. Will Jessie win her over, or will she be alone on the farm forever? You moved to Stardew valley to get away from your boring job in Zuzu city. You didn't plan on meeting someone special there, until you met him. :) Random side notes: I'm not really good at writing fanfics (especially shipping ones), Or heck.
