Midoriya knows a lot of things.
He knows that he's quirkless, that Bakugou Katsuki is an asshole, and that he likes sunsets. He knows of the hatred his mother harbors towards him and that katsudon tastes good.
What he didn't know, however, was that he has a quirk.

"Well shit," he groaned, groping the gaping hole in his chest. Wincing at the noticeable pain in his torso, he limps towards the entrance of the alleyway using the wall as a crutch. Blood smears on the rough bricks, plastering the pale red in a bloody mess, pieces of skin caught in the crevices. Limping along, completely oblivious to the prying eyes of pro hero Eraserhead.

One day during break from school Deku notices a huge explosion in the city. Turns out to be a villian attack and a battle breaks out. His childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo is right in the middle of this attack. Izuku decides to go check if he is ok and rushes towards the attack. In the midst of everything 3 super strong villians appear. Izuku finds childhood friend battling for his life. As the two try escape another huge explosion goes off and traps the two underground in a buildings basement.
