From the moment before the outbreak to the last. Sydney (Syd) Collens has lost many and has yet to regain anything. Growing up was simple, easy, and she had no worries. Her mother and father were in love and her brother seemed to always have a smile on his face. But when the outbreak happens and she loses her parents, her brother, and most importantly, herself. She starts to find the fighter in her.
She is determined to find the her brother, Braxton and won't sleep until she does. But everything changes when she meets two new strangers on their own journey...and maybe even an old friend.

Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part? The other group has a girl their age. This is essentially a Ellie/Reader slow-burn fanfiction. It's also a fix-it fic in regards to the Last of Us Part 2 because I have personal issues with it.
