"Sister?"

"Why do you see the world as gray?"

I got up off the couch and went to sit next to Hoshi, who was watching the rain fall.

"I'm a little surprised you don't. Everything is gray and bitter and cold in the bad parts of life. Full of people that are either evil or stupid with the few actually decent people hardly ever getting justice against the people who hurt them."

Hoshi went to hug me.

"It's not all bad, Sister!"

I smiled at Hoshi, feeling the color coming back to my eyes.

"You're right. There is some good. We just have to fight for it."

I hugged Hoshi back and we continued to watch the rain.

"You know my favorite part of still having you as a sister?" I asked Hoshi. She smiled at me. "You seem to be some of the only proof of good in this world."

The junior detective sister duo Uchū and Hoshi have recently been tasked with an important assignment: finding Shio Kobē and bringing her home.
