A few months after Vasilisa Dragomir was crowned the new Queen, things have been...weird. Rose Hathaway is still trying to protect Lissa, but it is getting harder to do now that their bond is gone. Adrian Ivashkov refuses to talk to Rose and literally goes out of his way to avoid her. Dimitri Belikov, the badass of all guardians and of course, the soul mate of Rose, has been going on long trips for as few as three days, to as much as 2 months. So, without Dimitri there to help her with her fighting, or mainly the fun in bed, and she can't do it herself, she visits Lissa on her non-business days to take care of the latter. But how long can she keep it a secret without crumbling the guardian world and the royal world?
