Strange things started about a year back. You keep waking up in another world after falling asleep. Because of this strange power, your life has been completely turned upside down, but also thanks to it, you have met new friends. They are cynical people, they struggle to survive in a scary and cruel world, but deep down in their hearts, they feel very lonely and just need someone by their side. People treat them differently because of the powerful superpowers they possess. They were pushed before the beast's claws and forced to fight because they were different, because they were stronger. Behind them, people call them "freaks". But you know they're not freaks. They were just children who yearned for a peaceful life and were afraid of monsters, just like everyone else. Because of the strange bond between you and them, you decide to accompany these new friends. Your relationship with them is getting closer and closer. You never thought that what you do can change so many things... __________ ♥︎ Relationships (MC consider all to be friends, so all are unrequited love) ♥︎ - Mono x Reader. - Six x Reader x Shadow Six. - Seven (The Runaway Kid) x Reader. ⚤ MC are Gender-Neutral and will be referred to as "they/them" in the third person. I don't use the pronoun "Y/N" but "(_____)". ➪ MC's age won't be mentioned, but it's definitely over the teen years. The age of the other characters will also be changed from the original games, but they are all stuck in child form for some reason. ✍︎︎ English is not my native language, my English is quite poor, so I hope everyone can understand (and give me suggestions for correction) if I have made any mistakes (ง'̀-'́)ง • 【Artist's Pixiv: @トキ子 ❗You can also find my story on Quotev under the name "Hell Bent" by Chubby_Cat account.】

THE END OF WAR (Watty Award Winner)

88 parts Complete

A secret program in the United States seeks to replace human militaries with artificial intelligence-driven machines, but the machines aren't so willing to play along. *** Picture a world where humans no longer fight wars. No more families missing loved ones. No more veterans with lifelong mental and physical scars. No more conscription. For the super-secret End of War Project inside the United States government, such a reality is already here. The project models out how artificial intelligence can overcome dangerous and morally sensitive war scenarios with algorithms and automation. The centerpieces are "autonomous combat machines," or ACMs, that look like humans but function like supercomputers. After a string of brilliant successes in the field of combat, the End of War Project is preparing to reveal itself to the public, but something unusual stands in the way. Against their programming, the ACMs start exhibiting all-too-human signs of apprehension, guilt and compassion as they're pushed to perform ever more extreme tasks. The human leaders of the End of War Project race to find who "hacked" the ACMs, but what they find is even more startling--and revealing--than they could ever imagine. ***2019 Watty Award Winner - Science Fiction***
