Humanity has expanded to the stars. New technologies have been learned, leading to interstellar travel and access to the secrets of the universe. In doing so, they have finally come upon another planet, a planet with life.

Hidden within this new planet, trapped under the cruelty of new occupants, lives a dragon. Unsure of who, or what, he is, and ignorant of the outside world, he finds himself satisfied with his current life. But as more secrets are revealed through his flames, and an unknown friend is made, he begins to realise there is much more outside the darkness. A world to which he may soon have access to. A world that he soon may change forever.

Fifteen years after, the Earth will be not what it used to be. Legends of the existence of aliens becomes true in that day. In that day, huge ships cover the hole sky of the world, and aliens begin coming down from those ships. A terrible war happens between humans and aliens and the winner is aliens. Aliens call for a ceasefire; the only thing they want is to start living in the Earth, and the peace happens. After that day, all of aliens come down from the ship and start living with humans. Physically, they look exactly the same as humans. The only difference; their coloue of blood is green. Because of this little difference, it becomes hard to find out who is alien, who is human. Eighteen-year old, young and beautiful girl Hayley was having an ordinary hagh school life, until aliens come to the Earth. After that day, although humans and aliens start living together in peace, Hayley hates aliens because she lost the man she loves in the war. Therefore, Hayley cannot trust anyone anymore. By the way, she meets Ezra, the new student in school. After this meeting, Hayley starts seeing the truths about aliens; why they are really here. Humanity, is in danger right now and if this cannot be stopped, the apocalypse happens and humanity will be over.

Only he's not human and he's a charismatic psychopath. Merc's a first generation Originator, who's covertly working with the Untouchables. The Untouchables booby-trapped the Earth with artifacts believed to be creations of Earth's early civilizations. These machines of destruction are responsible for the blazing heat that is incrementally destroying the Earth. What causes complications for Laura's progress is her growing attraction to Merc, oddly because he's as void of a conscience as she is. She needs to figure out if Merc knows where the machines are so she can shut them down. Merc in turn, needs to stop Laura from finding the machines to keep Earth on its path to ruination. They are more powerful than they are letting on, and have no qualms about killing the other.
