Maddox Watson was your average boy: he enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing video games, liking girls, and so on. The key word there is was. Maddox Watson was found hanged in his best friend Alisha Montoya's backyard. After a year of grieving over her best friend and thinking she was hanging out with a suicidal boy, she felt betrayed and friendless. After the year had past, her beginning of spring was finding Maddox's ghost. Not only was he a ghost, but he didn't kill himself- Maddox was murdered. It is now up to Alisha to find Maddox's murderer. Will she find who killed Maddox? Or will no one believe her for seeing a 'ghost'?

In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go.
