He takes his chance and grabs her, but much to his dismay looks can be deceiving. As it turns out this man is actually a vampire and the girl he thought was the perfect victim was actually anemic. Sadly for him she will have none of it. She can take care of herself she doesn't some random man who just tried to eat her to do that for her. None the less he won't take no as an answer.
