The feeling of something soft and warm covered my lips, and it took me a moment to realize that Adrian was kissing me. Dumbfounded, I stared at him with wide unmoving eyes as he gently pulled away. The kiss was short-lived, but it didn't stop the warmth I felt erupting from my chest.

My eyes zeroed in on his lips, "... Do that again... " I whispered, leaning in as my eyes fluttered closed, "... please? "

His minty breath fanned my face as he let out a heartfelt chuckle, "Gladly... " Gently grabbing my face in both of his large calloused hands he kissed me once more.

Ever Monroe was abandoned in the middle of nowhere by her boyfriend and was found by Adrian Wolf, a street racer with a past he doesn't like to talk about.
