These are excerpts from my manuscript.  It covers 25 years of rescues and body recoveries while working for the Orange County Sheriff's Department and the Orange County Sheriff's dive team.
Every person I recovered was always done with the families in mind. I wanted to give them closure and bring their loved ones back to them.  I will try to add 2 chapters a week.

Aqua finds all of this superstition pretty funny until the day a customer shows up dead. Suddenly no one is laughing and the phantoms in the walls don't seem all that strange. Things get complicated when it turns out the person who found the body is the same boy that Aqua is crushing on, Sean Mori. Somehow Sean knew the exact time, date, and location of the victim's death before it all even happened. Aqua wants to believe that Sean isn't the murdering type, but things are starting to get a little too weird too fast. The more time she spends with Sean, the more she understands the burden he's been forced to bear.
