Long after the ashes of World War 3 have settled, the world has come to meet grave changes. Long-lasting biological changes seeped deep beneath the earth's surface and man's skin. Long gone are the days of our time.

Almost 500 years have passed since the modern world we know today fell, and all have come to ruin under dire conditions that plagued all nations. A blight of food, exhaustion of water, and depletion of resources brought on international distress that lead to nuclear warfare for survival, and with it complete antihalation of all humankind. Billions wiped out in mere days.

A new dawn of man now roams our world, one altered by the levels of radiation in this human-made hellscape. Animals, plants, and all continents have been shifted to endure these severe restraints. Monsters evolved from beasts of the past, now genetic terrors that scour the craters of this wasteland. Humanity nothing more than a relic of the past.

Yet man finds a way. Hope present in the Paladinian people as they raise their young to fight and survive in this new world. One sole boy is gifted with radiated capability to lead them, protect them, and usher them into a brighter tomorrow. But will he rise up and bring them to salvation or is man doomed to repeat his wicked ways?

***COMPLETED***So get this... We've been living in a dystopian nightmare for 10 years now. Grandpa Alfred says it's the older generation's fault--well duh! To make matters worse, Bell, my twin sister, contracted "The Wasting." No doubt she caught it by helping the kids in the Forbidden Zones. That's where all the mutant freaks live. Not just your usual freaks but kids with missing limbs, half a face, twisted spines... My witch of a mother thinks it's from the nuke plants leaking after the purple lights lit up the skies. The preggo's babies turned into monsters. Due to Bell's bleeding heart she only has a month to live. Grandpa says he knows this invisible guy with a cure, (yeah right... what you've been sniffing Grandpa?) He's disappeared and so close to "Recycling" age. Now it's up to me and only me, Izzy Quest, a freaked out teen from Brooklyn, to save my dying twin sister. You may have guessed by now, I'm not the save-the-day-sort--Bell is. She's the sweet, honest, dependable, pretty twin. Don't believe me? Ask my lunatic of a mother. "You look like Bell; try acting like her." If Bell had to save me, she'd be all organized with sticky notes and a compass. Me? What do I have but OCD, a short fuse and a cynical attitude. Oh, but I can run--fast. I can outrun any boy in my school. Well, when there were schools. As of today, all schools are closed indefinitely. Thanks evil, New Regime! (Bell wants me to tell you our story is in 3rd person and not first person--whatever that means...) Find out what the Quest sisters are up to next! Read: "Escape From Fat Camp"

60 parts Complete Mature
Seventeen year old Cadence Buds is a normal teenager in a dying world. Well, the world isn't dying, but the sun is. It has been dying for several years now, but the effects are finally starting to come about. The sun has even been changing color. The government has been working on a plan to save a portion of the human population for quite some time. There are so many problems with the sun dying. The oceans will evaporate from the inevitable explosion, everything will be dark and nothing will be able to grow, the world will freeze over, everything will be destroyed. The sun is also giving off toxic radiation while it dies, making the world especially dangerous. The government's solution to this problem is to build a radiation proof dome over a large area. There will be synthetic heat, light, and seasons. The cost to enter such an oasis is very expensive. It is hundreds of thousands of dollars per ticket. However, there is another way to get in. Once the sun dies many will die with it. It might even vaporize part of the planet in its blast. No one knows for sure. But the world will need a larger population. You can earn your place in the dome if you agree to have a child to save the human race. This obviously only applies to women. Now remember Cadence? He is biologically female. He has been on testosterone for two years and is trying to transition in this world. Unfortunately that is horribly expensive where he lives. His family however is more focused on saving their lives from the dying sun. His parents had just enough money to afford his sister a ticket. She could not have children because she was barren. Cadence however could have children if he wished, but he didn't. Having a child meant undoing all of his hard work. He is told that in order to survive that he must have a child within the next two years. Two years is a long time, but he never wanted to have children. What will Cadence do once his two years have come to an end?

3518 A.D. Exactly 1500 years ago, Earth had been pushed to its limits and threatened to collaps on itself if we didn't act in time. Mankind didn't know what to do anymore and had declared our home doomed, our days numbered. That was, until the supernatural society decided to step up and take actions in their own hands. Creatures we thought never existed suddenly appeared out of their secret societies to safe Earth, to erase our mistakes and begin anew. They succeeded but parts of the world vanished for centuries due to the climate being completely out of the normal before it settled again and left the world at peace again. But not for mankind; all the other races had grown to dislike us, hate us. A witch hunt ensued and now only few of us are left. I've been running all of my life to remain free and alive, to survive and be as happy as humanly possible. My name is Thorn and I'm part of the last humans on our planet. Sadly, I'm not entirely human...
