Elijah, a young squid ventures out of his normal life to take on a challenge far beyond what he normally does. He leaves the splatlands for the city to make a team called the Splatlanders and win a tournament that could change not just his life but others forever. Will this young squid be able to rise to the challenge, or will he end up just a puddle of ink in the end.

Our protagonist: a spunky, clever, and determined Inkling named Zaki who runs away from home and goes to Inkopolis, hotspot of the biggest new sport: ink battles! She tries to find her niche as a battler and makes a few friends along the way, like the kind but fussy Mikado, an introspective sharpshooter named Keiso, and Teruo, a self-proclaimed roller gal with a sparkling personality, but she also finds a few rivals... Oh, and she also gets roped into becoming Agent 3 of the Squidbeak Splatoon, on a mission to rescue the Zapfish from the Octarians, who have returned after the Great Turf War of 100 years ago. So she's living the dream, but she's also living a bizarre double life. One she'll have to keep from her friends. They wouldn't want her doing shady stuff, right? I do not own Splatoon or any of the characters except for Zaki, Mikado, Keiso, Teruo, Biito, and a few minor characters. Cover design is mine. To add insult to injury, practically all non-mollusks, more noticeably, mammalians, have gone extinct. Even if that makes him an endangered species, it does not deter him from his ultimate goal: to save a loved one who was thought to be long lost. With his only form of help being guidance from a mysterious man on a radio, Akikta will do whatever it takes to bring a piece of his family back and survive in this new era. The story takes place long ago and is about a scientist that has no other dream but to create life. After many failures, he is forced to seek help from hooded figures that appear one night. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it.
