Fourteen year old Noa Braun and friend Leah Heidrun live a calm life in the coastal area of Rostuck, Germany in 1940.  Unbeknownst to them, a visit at their school would reveal a life completely different to what they're used to, one which reveals fear, a mysterious and confusing phenomenon, as well as slowly growing feeling towards each other.

She laughed as we continued walking, well at least until someone ran into me, "Ow, what the heck!"

The boy, who seemed to be younger than me, had wide eyes and a panicked expression, "Run!" he shouted and left. Me and Leah both looked at each other incredulously and kept waking in the same direction.
