This story takes place in modern India. 16 year old Madhumitha Kannan is a Carnatic musician but she refuses to go back to her music career for some reason and wants to live a peaceful life. That all changes when she meets a French-Indian cellist boy, Rudra Grenier who is convinced of her abilities as a musician.
