The constant words of her parents never left her, even when she was free from that life. She thought that no one could possibly understand what it's like to feel like you don't belong in your own family, well that was until she lost it all.

Ackerman D. Spencer's home of the Bryher Kingdom was suddenly attacked one day by a mysterious group. Trowing everything she learned aside she rushed to see if she could find anyone of her family still alive. Before getting the chance Spencer was attacked and gravely injured. The Ackerman's royal tutor, Kayne, finds her and flees the Bryher Kingdom, thinking that they're the only two survivors.

All seemed lost for the two. Spencer clinging to life, Kayne doesn't know what to when they suddenly run into, who the Marines would call "a dangerous group of people", the Revolutionary Army. Thinking this was their one last chance, Kayne pleads with their leader Monkey D. Dragon, to take Spencer and treat her while he went back to the Bryher Kingdom to search for services. This is when everything changes for Spencer. This is where she meets the one who has just as many scars as she does.
