Ares Goddard has had a tough time. One year ago, a terrible accident knocked her completely off-kilter and dealt her an endless serving of guilt. Now she has finally adjusted to the consequences along with her best friend, Hunter. She was 'dealing'.
There she was, already tainted with the darkest of secrets, when in comes an unlikely figure: a man named Damon Salvatore. With his piercing icy blue eyes and unequivocal smirk, he starts to dig deeper into Ares' web of mysteries and discovers something he had not expected. But Ares is interested in Damon's past too (as much as she'd care to deny) and all of the reasons why he is so mystifying.
