I stare at him from across the room. Watching him with a bunch of girls. Wishing it was me. It’s a great party, but I only have eyes for him. Everyone else is dull compared to him. Then he looks at me. “Hey Skip!” he shouts over the music. “Need to talk!” He points to the back door. I just nod. I beat him to the door and walk out. Completely deserted. I don’t know why, It’s a pretty nice night.
Beau walks out onto the patio and stands next to me. “Hey Beau, watcha need?” I ask. He doesn’t know it, but I would do anything for him. I turn to face him.
“Nothing, I just want to say…” he stares at me for what seems like an hour, but I don’t have time to blink before he crashes his lips to mine. I tense up for an instant, then respond with all I have. This is probably a dare, so I’m going to make it count. Then he traces my bottom lip with his tongue, and I know that this is no dare. He pulls away, only to lean in towards my ear. “Happy Birthday Daniel.” He whispers. He walks back into the party. Like nothing happened. Like our lives aren’t changed forever.

Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in. Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head.
