I live in a post-apocalyptic world. My father and I have taken in all the children that managed to escape the soldiers. It has been 20 years since the day one of those monsterous soldiers stumbled into our laps. Many things have changed since then, and we are working on changing manymore things. So that you, can live in a world without a government that murders it's own children, and turns the survivers into murders. I am writting this so that even after we are gone, humans will understand. Humans will know. Be safe my child.

This was PAT practice. We had to write a short story about kindness. Probably one of my better works since I worked really hard on it, but the topic was not very easy for me.Todos los derechos reservados

No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.

I held the gun out that had been in the guard's holster. "You'd best leave and leave this CHILD alone" I saw one snicker so I put the gun away and punched him in the nose breaking it and blacking both his eyes. I grabbed his suit and lifted him off the ground shoving him into the wall "LEAVE THIS CHILD ALONE! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!"..." [note: I think that little paragraph is enough to give you a feel for my style and tell you whether you'll like it or hate it..... I don't use this much so excuse any bad formatting]

A sense a guilt begins to grow whenever he upsets the girl who both fears and leans into him for protection. Julia and the vampire lord are connected in ways they had never known. Their lives become entangled, bringing them to make decisions they would've never thought possible. Extract from Chapter 1: He unsheathes his blade, and I suddenly wish that he'd go back to poking me. He's going to cut me while I can't move? To torture me? I start to panic again. "No, no, no." I yank on the restraints, and the rope bites into my skin. I pull and pull and try to shuffle away from him. He presses the blade against my neck, and I freeze. "Fearful," he says. I catch a glimpse of his freakishly long canines. The edge of the blade presses on my skin, just enough not to draw blood.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

I just couldn't take it anymore. I have to leave. (Yes I changed how I wanted to write this book. The original idea is still posted on my other books, if you want to see it aswell)

I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something. That decision is harder than you think. And I'll be facing it soon enough. Btw I'm so sorry that this is all over the place; I wrote it in 6th grade lol. If you want to see one of my better works, try reading something more recent (though everything on my account wasn't written a while ago).
