The darkness comes and goes, but the hallway stays. I've been here for about a month and a half now after the accident... I don't remember much outside of this place but I get a feeling I don't belong. Each moment the deafening silence seems to grow as I walk. I wish I could remember why I'm here, what is this place, and who is the puppet. This is a fiction with a confusing but great story to follow, I can't guarantee full closure but I'll leave enough pieces to cleanly put the puzzle together. Some confusing things are guaranteed as the main character had his memory mostly wiped. Hope you enjoy this. IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?
