Cliche. I know I know. Bad boy meets the nerd. But hey this story may just be not cliche enough yet still cliche to meet your likings. Meet Lennon. Obviously, the nerdy girl. She mostly keeps to herself. Sits in the back of the room with her hair always covering her face. Her bulky glasses frame her face largely but she doesn't mind much. Her best-friend is the head cheerleader and she always tries doing things to Lennon to make her more outgoing. then in English class she has to make a story of herself and her partner. Named Parker. Meet Parker. Bad-Boy of the school. Mostly closed out. Has one friend they are pretty close. Most of the girls go after him but very un-cliche. Not the head-cheerleader. He never really knew why because that is usually what happens. As a matter of fact most of the cheerleaders barely look at him. He is very cocky and rude to the girls he does know though. But he has some soft spot for the girl who he is forced to work with in English class on some stupid project. (Awesome cover made by writingbug_01)

Add in a normal, sarcastic apparently "different" high school girl and "the" hot, popular douchebag of a high school player, and voila : there you go! A cliched high school story.

Lindsey thought she had it all figured out. This was her last year at University and she was happily engaged. That is until she told her family. No one seemed happy with the idea of her getting married to Leo Parker. Her world came crashing down when she learns her parents were in an accident. Grief and guilt take over her world and everything and everyone is pushed away. When she finally decides on what her life was going to be like, life gets tipped on its head again. Upon finding out about her father's promotion overseas in Florida, her life takes a wild turn, for better but also for worse. Now meet Brett, the guy who thinks he's a big bad boy, when really, he is the looks-like-a-tiger-but-is-actually-a-kitten type person. Typical, I know- the female protagonist of this strangely typical cliche story agrees. Put the two of them together, and what do you get? It's the age old story. Boy meets girl. Boy and girl become best friends. Everyone around said boy and girl want them to be together. Boy and girl are aggressively oblivious to their own feelings. Naturally, the brutal reality that is high school drama causes problems between boy and girl. Long story short, this story has a very cliché premise. Read it anyway. Of course, she's like a sister to him (cliche cliche cliche) but, alas, he falls for her...but not before she seems to be falling for the boy she's known since she was a child. Love triangles, disastrous proms, insane step brothers, and a high school class system bent on maintaining the status quo and you've got yourself a teenage love story. **This story was written almost six years ago, when cliche romance novels and vampires made the world swoon.
