His Majesty and His Knights
Thirteen-year old Squires Lancelot and Gwaine dropped Merlin off at a safe place. They began their journey back to their kingdom but were attacked by bandits. Gwaine was kidnapped and Lancelot was left for dead, badly injured and unconscious. Luckily, he was taken and healed by druids. They both got word that their kingdom was taken over. Gwaine spent the next nine years wandering, believing that his friend was dead. Merlin didn't see either of them for another nine years... in Camelot. This is a "Merlin is the lost prince of another kingdom AU," but it's different from the others. Okay, I know that they all say that, but hear me out. Maybe Merlin isn't the only one from a different kingdom? Maybe... I dunno, Gwaine and Lancelot are from that same kingdom? I don't own Merlin!Concluida
It Comes the Dawn (Merlin Fanfiction)
After every dusk and the darkest hour it always comes the dawn. ~ What if Merlin managed to take Arthur to Avalon? What if Arthur lived? Will they build a fair and just kingdom they dreamt of? Story begins from the moment when Merlin reveals his secret to Arthur. First and second chapter are quite similar to the events from the last episode of season 5, also, I added some changes, so don't get discouraged! 😃 I used it as an introduction to the story. PS: I don't own "Merlin" and characters from the series. _____ Top ranks: #1 in arthurianlegends #1 in knightsoftheroundtable #1 in aithusa #1 in knightsofcamelot #2 in gwaineConcluida

A Ruby in the Rough
"I am Sir Lancelot Du Lac, a knight of Camelot." Lancelot calls into the emptiness. "I wish to speak with the king of dragons, if he is willing." Lancelot's voice echoes through the chamber, like a whispered wind inside of a long abandoned castle. "King Arthur?" Lancelot attempts again, his voice far smaller than before. "I heard your first request, Sir Lancelot." A voice booms throughout the cavern. Lancelot stills and a tremor moves through his body. "I am merely considering whether it is worth my time to consider whether you are being truthful or merely attempting to steal something from me." --------------------------------------------------------- There are dark works and darker magic at play in Camelot. A tyrant king rules with an iron and bloody fist, striking down any who oppose his cruelty. Sir Lancelot has never been one to stand down when faced with corruption and he will stand for it no longer. His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance. Perhaps a desperate knight with a deal can pull him back into a world that needs him. Maybe they kiss a little too.
What If? {Merlin}
What if someone else had been there in Camelot? What if they magic? What if they taught Arthur and Morgana that not all magic is bad? What if they keep it a secret from Merlin? What if this person helped Morgana with her magic? What if this person became Arthur's best friend? What if this person is the unknown factor in the lives of Camelot? #1 in sirpercival #1 in gaius #1 in percival #1 in morganapendragon (Please don't leave negative comments, if you don't like it, don't read it) (I do not own any of these characters other than Kylynn and Maeve. Destiny Defied ¹
Guinevere Pendragon needs a king. A shadow from the past; a strong leader? Her hesitant friend; a fractured bond? Or loyalty; a man who's never left her side? Camelot is without a king. Guinevere is alone; only Sir Leon still stands by her side. Everyone else is gone. Ruling in grief is a challenge she thought she would face alone, but true to his word, Leon stays close, offering advice when she wants to give up. Offering friendship. Offering even a hint of... love? But then Merlin turns up; he didn't die, as Gwen had feared, and has returned. He's home in Camelot. Instead of the joy she'd expected, Gwen is struck by a startling anger. Friends don't abandon friends. Merlin is distressed- he never meant to abandon Gwen, but it seems she can't see his staying away as anything else. They'd been friends before, but maybe friendship isn't enough. Merlin is the most powerful sorcerer to walk this earth- there must be something he can do. Yet it seems no matter how hard he tries, he can't be enough. Because maybe Gwen needs something else. Someone else. Can Merlin resurrect the past for her- a dark and dangerous game? Or should the past stay in the past? As if the rising tensions within Camelot aren't enough, it seems a threat is lurking outside the kingdom. Whispers of an army led by a ghost. Time will reveal the threat is already deep within the castle- already close to the queen. It seems the past can't let go of Camelot, and with the eerie Cup of Life falling into the conflict, past mixes with future. Some ghosts are hard to bury, but maybe Gwen isn't after the past anymore. Camelot needs a new start. New leadership. New rules. The old ways versus the new. Fear. Respect. Magic. Fear alone cannot lead Camelot, respect must be earned, and magic holds an uncertain future. They'd all begun to think they were safe- but is Camelot even meant to have a future? Or is it doomed to follow the destiny of its past kings? To die- and leave them all devastated amidst its ashes.Concluida
