[6k - 22k word chapters]

Your dad wanted help at the noodle shop, sure you love him to bits and pieces but you simply don't have the time of day to be doing things like this. He offered to pay you as much as he could for your help, but seeing as it was well under what you normally earned at your current job, you had to reluctantly deny his offers. Besides, you live halfway across the city and you have training with your mentor, this isn't something you couldn't just throw away with ease.

Upon the third call though, you finally folded, as the desperation in your fathers voice was evident and you were tired of being, what you'd like to call, a shitty daughter. So, you told your mentor about your knew schedule, to which he was more than happy to adjust his schedule as well, he seemed more than happy oddly enough. Though you felt off about leaving him to take care of your pets, you had no one else to trust, so you just left him with them.

With that, you packed a good few amounts of clothes, started up your car and then you were off. Still, there was an ever growing worry developing in your stomach as you drove further and further away from your home. Was this really the best idea?

5 parts Ongoing Mature
Soulmates are meant for people. You are not a person. Let's begin. Around seven hundred years ago you received word your sworn sister had a child, the letter came a little late, and when you finally arrived you found a family mourning instead of celebrating. Seven hundred years ago you helped her bury her sworn brother. You were only supposed to stay for a little while, to help her through the grieving process and help her husband raise their child while she was indisposed. Life had other plans. Only two hundred years after that her husband was ripped from her arms. Left with an even worse off sworn sister and a nephew that just learned to walk all ideas to pack up and go home are thrown out the window. Five hundred years later and with plans underway you might just be able to free Gongzhu's husband. But the memories of your home don't feel like home anymore. And going back to your solitary life feel's just as terrifying as staying. Your family still needs you, and you're too scared to leave. Now with dangerous looming threats on the horizon you have to learn to move on and move forward to keep your family safe. Which is becoming increasingly difficult with a certain prickly soulmate you shouldn't have poking his tail into places it doesn't belong. Remember, soulmates are meant for people. You are not a person. You are incapable of falling in love. Don't let them fool you into thinking you can. Or you may never be able to go back to the life you knew before. ---- Or in other words: Welcome to my physical manifestation of my obsession with lego characters. Please enjoy your stay :)

51 parts Complete

(This a very old book and contains grammar errors, slight cringe and some other stuff normally found in a 12 year old's fanfiction when they have too much time on their hands.) Welcome to my first story, technically. Also, all relationships will be platonic! (Because the reader is a child). The reader is also male, but I will make two other books with the same story, just different gender. ~Y/n just wanted excitement in their life. He didn't feel many emotions. He had a wonderful family that loves him and cares for him. After he was left home alone while his family went on a trip and was in the care of a certain noodle shop owner, he finally gets a bit of entertainment.~
