When Emry Paynes from a tiny town in Montana gets sucked into the world of the Sun Weilders, all she can do is unravel the mystery of her past, even if it means learning of dark secrets kept for ages. Along with her best friend, Crimson, the two teenagers find that there's more to the Sun Weilders than it seems. 
Emry also gets the chance to learn about her parents, who mysteriously died right after her birth.
