They won't break me. They don't own me. For the first time, I fully understand what Peeta Mellark said before our first Hunger Games. About proving to the capital we are more than a piece in their games. I will show them that tiny act of defiance, even if it is the last thing I do.

This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about. Almost. Peeta is still alive, but also still hijacked. Will Katniss find a way to cure Peeta, and get him to come back to her? And how does their future, after the Rebellion, look? (The first 16 chapters has been re-written, because I accidentally deleted the story oops)
