Josie was saved by a strange woman and brought back to a prison to try to survive with everyone else, can she adjust to her new normal or will she figure out a way to screw it up like everything else so far?
**This is a Walking Dead/Daryl Dixon fan fiction with an OC, I also make up my own characters/mix in my own characters to replace the characters in the show, it goes off of the storyline a bit but mostly sticks to the show, it starts out on Season 4 onward.**

"Save me, I can't face this life alone." They didn't like relying on others because they always ended up losing, but now they needed people to survive. They needed saving from the walls they had built around them as protection, from the walls others forced them to build. Brick by brick they tore some of them down, some intentionally others unconsciously. Most walls remained, but now there was a gap between them that invited the other in. They saved one another from a life without love and trust. And now, they wouldn't be alone anymore. The Ðying Liƒe. »A Walking Dead Fanfic«
Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that. I really hope it finds the same love as it did on Tumblr and if you're interested in reading the original version you can go here:https://newinadeadworld.tumblr.com}Complete
A Redneck's Wicked Game (A Daryl Dixon Story)
Surviving is what Rowan does best. She's been alone almost since the beginning and it's suited her just fine. Lately things have changed; a group has appeared and she can't help her interest in them, especially one particular redneck with a crossbow. What will happen when they meet? Will the two loners of the apocalypse realize that they're better off together? **As always my descriptions kind of suck but trust me, this story is worth the read!!Complete
Somewhere in the After, We Begin
The world ended. She didn't. She was never meant to survive this long - not alone. But after losing everything, she kept going. Scavenging. Hiding. Fighting. Never staying anywhere too long. Never getting close. Then she finds the prison. Glenn Rhee isn't supposed to let strangers in. Daryl Dixon isn't supposed to care. And Carl Grimes... well, he reminds her too much of someone she couldn't save. Set during the prison timeline of The Walking Dead Season 4, "Somewhere in the After, We Begin" follows a lone survivor - tough, guarded, and just a little bit broken - as she stumbles into a group that's managed to hold onto a fragile kind of peace. What starts as a temporary alliance slowly turns into something else: trust, found family, maybe even healing. But the dead aren't the only danger - and neither is her past. In a world where survival comes at a cost, can she learn to live again? Or is she too far gone to begin anything at all?Complete

We Ain't Ashes ~ TWD (Daryl Dixon)
She was far from home, wandering through the wreckage of a post-apocalyptic world that no longer made sense. The rules had changed. The future was gone. All that remained was survival, day by day, step by step, always looking over her shoulder. She never expected to find hope again. She didn't expect safety. And she sure as hell didn't expect to fall for a man with a crossbow and a heart he tried to keep hidden. Daryl Dixon was unlike anyone she had ever known - powerful and untamed. A man who carried his pain like a weapon, with eyes that held the weight of a troubled past. He didn't trust easily. He didn't let people get close. But there was something in her, something raw and real, that held him quietly captive. Thrown together by chance and bound by the instinct to protect what little they had left, they begin to find something neither of them believed could survive the end of the world. Not just trust, not just loyalty, but connection. And in the spaces between bloodshed and silence, in the ashes of what was once civilization, they discover that even in the darkest times a love they never expected could take root - raw, real, and relentless. But in a world where every choice carries a price and loyalty is tested in fire and blood, can love really survive the end of the world? Mature content 😜 Original female character. Some main TWD plot points included but with lots of divergence. Beginning just before the start of season one and will follow the entire run of the show. From the author of Athena ~ TWD (Daryl Dixon). I do not own any rights to TWD characters or plots.

When the dead rose, Hope Tremblay found herself trapped, woefully unprepared for the rapidly changing world before her, and worst of all, alone. Day by day, week by week, she somehow stayed alive, clinging to the idea that she could survive, but unsure of how to do so. With no family and no friends, Hope finds herself just as alone in her new group. When she meets Daryl Dixon, she senses a kindred spirit beneath the rugged, asshole exterior he displays to the world. Solace ~ TWD (Daryl Dixon)
In a world overrun by the dead, the living can be far more dangerous. She's carved out a fragile existence under the rule of a ruthless leader - a place where survival means submission. But when a defiant prisoner arrives, his spirit unbroken despite the horrors he's endured, she's forced to confront the chains she's wrapped around herself. The world outside is no kinder. Walkers roam the wasteland, and every step beyond the Sanctuary's walls is a gamble. Yet the thought of freedom lingers, gnawing at her. And as the man who refuses to kneel continues to fight, she's left with a choice - betray the fragile security she clings to, or risk everything for the chance at something more. But rebellion comes at a cost, and in a world without mercy, love might be the most dangerous risk of all. (Daryl Dixon x Original Female Character) Slow burn. Mature content. 🔥🫢 Some main TWD plot points included, but I intend to diverge often to keep it exciting and fresh. I don't own the rights to any TWD characters or scenes. OFC is my own, as are some of the plot lines in this story. #1 in Daryl Dixon - 10/28/25
