A RWBY story [This story picks up in the middle of volume 6 and is a rewrite/alternate ending to the show] Oscar Pine has just officially hit rock bottom. He's learned the truth about Ozpin, and his team is stuck in Argus, unable to go forward. On top of this, Oscar now fears he will lose his very soul to the ancient curse that ties him to Ozpin. But in the midst of his despair, he unexpectedly meets two strangers who just seem to appear in Argus. They have a pretty wild story, that they're not from the world of Remnant, but the only beings Oscar knows of who can leave the world are the gods. They claim they can help him break his curse and perhaps save Remnant. Oscar, out of options, decides to accept their help, and sets in motion a series of impossible events that will cumulate in confronting Salem herself, in her own fortress. Along the way, they recruit unexpected allies such as Winter Schnee, Raven Branwen, Emerald Sustrai, Mercury Black, and many others. They also uncover secrets about Ozpin that even the lamp couldn't show them, and they just might change everything they thought they knew about Remnant. (This story will deviate heavily from canon, including in ships and character deaths, I decided to tell it my own way, and I don't expect it to be everyone's flavor, but I do promise it's interesting.
