The Spirit Walker (Explicit Standalone)

After Rae Campbell is murdered by her abductor, she wakes in a world that exists parallel to ours- one which diverged in 1761, when a band of Scottish Highlanders joined with the Skin-Walking Kituwah tribe to oust the British from Appalachia.

Rae becomes a Spirit-Walker; she walks in the skin of the leader's mate, Ceallach, who like Rae, suffered a wrongful death. The leader and Rae make a pact- she will help him discover his mate's murderer, and he will grant her safety and shelter while teaching her the ways of this new world.

When Ceallach's wolf-skin begins to awaken within Rae's body, however, everything changes. The mate bond becomes impossible to ignore, and it consumes her, body and soul. Unable to shift, however, the unsettled bond throws her new world into turmoil. Will she walk in her wolf skin in time and bear the mark of her new mate? Or will she fail and cost the man she is learning to love everything he holds dear?
