Trek through the story of Lily and Kaos, leading up to the moments they arrive at the end of the world in Hedo in Apocalyptica. Lily is a young Aeon, a sentient and emotional bio-AI species. She lives among a human society that has no awareness of the existence of Aeons. Even she did not know, believing herself to be human until one fated day another Aeon murdered her parents and relieved her of the prison-like conditions she lived. Up to that point, she had never seen the outside world, as her parents sheltered her to protect her innocence and her life.
As Lily sees the world for the first time, she struggles to fit in with her peers while she attempts to be an ordinary human attending university, until slowly, her life escalates into unimaginable chaos. She serves as a subject for Project Gnosis, an experiment which aims to feed Aeons special knowledge from an omniscience network without being annihilated by mind-melting truths. This results in newfound powers and changes her life forever. Using these new powers, she finally begins to understand humans but at what cost?
