Margaret Skotous is a troubled person. Her whole life has been nothing but loneliness and neglect. Her personality is somewhat of a shy exterior and a stubborn interior. She has trouble trusting anyone she meets. She speaks her mind through her thoughts, but is too afraid to actually voice them. Turning eighteen in three days, she expects it to be any other normal birthday. However, it's far from it. A new teacher starts in the middle of the semester due to a sudden situation for the staff before them. This new teacher at school not only peaks the town's attention, but Margaret's as well. She feels as though she has known this man her whole life the moment she meets his eyes. This mysterious man isn't alone, however, with other people randomly transferring to her school wanting to be friends with her. Once strange dreams begin plaguing her life, Margaret is suddenly thrown into a civil war of gods and goddesses of an age long past.
