His green eyes flicker up and down her face. She doesn't like it, but remains stiff and her gaze focused. Then he's smiling again, an absolute burden to this world, as he steps closer, holding up what Wednesday easily recognizes as his name plate in between them.
"I'm Tyler," He says and it's stupid because she can read, obviously, and she doesn't even need to know somebody's name to scare them off.
Or, Tyler's the new guy at work that everyone but Wednesday Addams instantly welcomes, rather, she wants to get rid of him

Gomez waved the thanks away immediately. "Nonsense, of course you were going to come." Gomez said, jovial but firm. He'd been thrilled at the thought of Tyler staying with them, and had probably been looking forward to it for weeks, if not longer. Wednesday's phone pinged, and she looked at the screen, expecting to see a notification from Enid. Instead, an unknown number had sent her an image of herself from the outside of the car. Wednesday leaned toward the window, looking around to try and find the source of the image, but there was no one there. Another message pinged through. I know what you've done. Weird. Tyler picked up on Wednesday's confusion and intrigue and peeked at her phone, which she angled toward him. His eyes widened and he looked up at her, asking silently if this was something they needed to worry about right now. Wednesday shook her head. The boy was tall, his face boyish, his stance non-threatening but an air of dread surrounded him nonetheless. He was pretty, objectively. Strong but lithe. He looked up, meeting her eyes. She looked at him impassively, and his eyes darkened as he took her in. Clearly, he saw something that piqued his interest in the same way hers had been piqued. His aura screamed predator but his stance portrayed prey. Interesting. "Oh my God, Wednesday," Enid's shrill voice interrupted her observations, but Wednesday didn't break eye contact with the strange boy. "Don't look at him!" The girl's voice was shaky with fear. Wednesday turned to look at her, assessing her nervous form. Damn, the boy really was inspiring fear. Wednesday hoped she could quickly inspire the same effect. "Who is he?" "That's Tyler Gaplin.
