This takes place after the war ends.
Most heroes have decided to go to therapy and try to heal from everything they had to face in the war. Todoroki's husband, Deku, convinces him to try therapy, to help with all the trauma he faced as a child and as a teen. Todoroki goes weekly, but it's hard for him to trust people, so his therapist suggests he write about his childhood so that they can discuss it in their sessions. He doesn't really understand why she has him do this, but she says it might help him talk about it. After some very hard sessions, he's finally starting to get better. He decides to go one step further and write a book about it.

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home.
