The Prophecy

Aminta is tired. It clamps it's teeth onto her skin and won't let go. She waits for the problem to dissipate from her.

Aminta's dad hasn't been coming home as much as he used to. The change of it all leaves her restless. What if something bad happened? She waits for him by the door until the change becomes normal.

Aminta has never knew her mother. But now, twelve years later, she finally knows the reason why. Why is this happening to her? She waits for an answer she knows she won't receive.

Aminta is crying. The sobs are silent but painful. She's crying and nothing is changing. She's still stuck with a prophecy waiting to happen, with three new sisters in the same position she finds herself in. She waits. Aminta waits until everything plays out just like it always does and Aminta adapts.

Her mother being a witch won't change the way she is . . . It can't.
