A Shadow of the Colossus writing study that examines what the Forbidden Lands may have looked like in its heyday, long before the events of the game. It's partly practice in creating diverse cultures, traditions, and characters to match the artifacts of the past seen in-game.

The story revolves around a Young King and his complex relationship with the Not-Yet-Forbidden Lands. The journey that he sets off on and the forces he encounters will determine the fate of this hallowed domain of sunlight.
