The world is an evil place, and a group of friends embrace on a journey that will change them forever. Being drawn into the games of selection, each of them must survive 3 fights in order to return. They are given special amulets with superpowers to help them survive. Each person is faced with choices that will leave them broken, scared, or dead. With a rebellion going on and people around you dying, do you think they can they survive the games of selection? Or die trying?
This is a rough draft, I'm starting by putting down the rough draft before going though and editing it, I apologize for any bad grammar or spelling, it will be fixed after I finish and go though to edit the story

The Darkness in the Light
For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!Complete
