They place her in the ninja academy to see if she has any valuable skills to provide for the village and as she goes through her training and stages she returns home after a long solo mission. Now 21 she is returning to her home village and meets up with Kakashi her lifelong best friend. She is placed as the second leader of Team 7 and is expected to help train them to become chunin.
