Callista is a noble girl living in France with her adoptive parents.  

Its the year 1558 and Callista was never like many of the others. When she was an infant, her adoptive parents were out picking herbs in a forest when they saw her in a basket with moss draped over her. They knew she was special when they noticed her hair was dark brown with a white streak within the hair. Lying beside her was a crystal pendant and a short note with written on it "Callista"

Callista is now 18. She goes out to the very same forest where she was found to go out for a stroll with her dog Oliver when she realizes her pendant is glowing and she finds a portal and enters it.

She goes on a journey to find her real parents and along the way finds her true self, makes friends, and even finds a bit of romance on the way.
