Iris Banks is a gaming content creator who would do anything to win the most important sponsorship of her career. She's known for being honest with her audience and not holding back from anybody. Sam Lee is in the biggest up-and-coming boyband in the world. But, he is continuously falling from grace. With alleged hookups, alleged drugs, and a lot of alcohol, he is publicly spiraling. After a run-in with heartthrob Lee, Iris decides he is the biggest asshole she's ever met. When a career-altering miscommunication happens, the boys need to do whatever they can to get fired from their record label, this includes breaking the most crucial rule. No public relationships. When Sam and Iris have an "accidental" reunion, involving far less vomit, more cigarettes, and all of the paparazzi, Sam finally accepts the opportunity to break free.

"Sam Lee? What about him?"

"Well," the interviewer clears her throat. "You've been seen with him publicly, right?"

"Unfortunately. He threw up on my shoes that night. If you're wondering whether or not I ended up in his bed, then the answer is no. Vomit is a total turn-off."

When I was asked to be the fake girlfriend of Sam Lee, I laughed in his face.

Until I was given an offer I couldn't refuse. Now, he's commenting hearts under my posts, and running with me from the paparazzi, hand in hand.

And I can't tell how much of it is truly fake.

She had a motive, and so did I.

But every time her eyes meet mine,

I seem to forget what my motive was.

For me, I'm not sure it ever was fake.
