Mature
A young 16-year-old girl with a great talent with a bow is rejected by the people she grew up with.
"Outcast."
"Mistake."
"Runt."
"Useless."
Words she has heard so many times, they seem like her name now. Zaira gets forced on an epic journey to deliver a dragon egg, that should've been dead, and bring it back to Xadia. The journey continues to have trust issues with one another, will they even be able to make it?

I do not own the art in this book
I also do not own The Dragon Prince. All credit goes to the original creators.
The reason for the 'Mature' is for the graphic descriptions of violence when the war starts in Season 4 (also probably for other times throughout this book-)

Once upon a time, Xadia was a unified land, filled with wonder and magic. At the dawn of time, there were six primary sources of magic, the sun, moon, stars, earth, sky and ocean. But a thousand years ago, a magician from a human tribe discovered a new power, the seventh source, black magic. It uses the essence of all magical creatures to awaken the forces of evil. Terrified by this sight, dragons and elves decided to put an end to the madness. Human mages, however, did not want to give up, and stood up to fight against the elves and dragons. The human mages using unimaginable black magic began to win. But then on the side of the elves and dragons stood the Flenimu, born from the union of human and elf. With their help, they managed to drive the humans westward. Then the continent was divided into two parts, Xadia or the eastern magical land and the western kingdoms of humans. For centuries the border was guarded by the dragon king himself. the people called him Thunder, because his voice made the earth and sky tremble. But before the day of the last coming of winter, people exterminated Grom, and then without a shadow of mercy destroyed his only egg, his successor, the dragon prince. The world then stood on the brink of an all-out war. English is not my language so I apologize for any mistakes :) I own the copyright only to what I have come up with myself. I am writing this after the premiere of season 3 but before the premiere of season 4.

Zaira Zobell is an eighteen-year-old dolphin trainer at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. She is beautiful and happy, she is enjoying the best summer she can have before starting college, and she has a lovely boyfriend and an amazing group of friends. She has an entire life in front of her that she can't wait for. Just not in this world. During a boat trip to Lake Lanier, a place that many people consider haunted, she vanishes under the surface in front of the astonished and desperate eyes of her friends. Only to re-emerge minutes later in Ancient Egypt during what looks like a religious ceremony in a temple in front of the Pharaohs. It has been the High Priest of Hathor to summon her back in time as she might be the reincarnation of the goddess Isis. Egypt's order has been turned upside down by Akhenaten and Nefertiti: they have canceled the cult of the many gods and now they only venerate one, Aten. Whoever is against it, is crushed. People live in fear and the beautiful and peaceful country it used to be, is only a distant memory. As the story progresses, however, Zaira will have to fight hard to survive the schemes and plots Nefertiti plans against her and the evil intrigues of the imperial court. She is in a world she doesn't know, crueler and wilder, where everything has a price. And nobody can be trusted. But what is war without love? Zaira will find herself contended between two people she really has grown fond of and cares about a lot: the god Horus, in his human form to fight his uncle within the humans, and Hando, the prince and heir to the throne, son of the kind second royal wife Hadia. The clock for her time in Amarna though, has started ticking the moment she appeared in the temple. Does she have to go back? Or will she be able to give up reality and forever live in her imagination? - Next chapters drop on December 1st -

COVER ART IS BY ME Trigger Warnings ⚠️Gore ⚠️Violence ⚠️ Swearing AU Series in place of book 15. Follows closely after the events of book 14. Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. Bermuda, out of all her friends, was the only dragon to never experience the lost of a loved one. Jellyfish lost everything- both her parents (from what Bermuda understood), her brother, and his friends, or in better words, her family. Stratus lost his mother and father, both to horrifically scarring events, not even related to the Last Day. Cloudy and Jeweldreamer have no idea what happened to their families. Jasmine lost both her parents, one when she was young, and her father in cold blooded murder. Aconi lost loved ones, but she was at fault. The corrupt RainWing has stolen the most powerful artifact ever known, the very core and origin of dragonkind. The Heart of Pyrrhia. Now, as Aconi uses the stolen power to reign terror across Bermuda's home, her friends and her were preparing to take down an undefeatable evil. But nasty surprises await the young heroes, and Bermuda will have to make a fateful decision: Risk herself to protect her friends? Or become like her friends, and lose a loved one?
