When Athena was 10 years old, she was "Kidnapped" from her home one night.
7 Years later, at age 17, she was found badly injured, taken to Starling city general, were the doctors did a DNA-test, only to find her identity as someone who was presumed dead long ago.
Reunited with family and friends, her life seems better, - until one faithful night on The Queen's Gambit.
She had gone on the gambit, to get away for a while with some friends, what she didn't count on was yet, another 5 years in a different kind of hell.

Oliver Queen has two Missions:
1. Honor his Father, by saving his city.
2. Loving the woman that has gone through hell by his side, - While fighting the Attraction he suddenly has for the woman in Red, following his every move.
Athena Hope Merlyn also has two missions:
1. Protecting the people she loves, at any cost, - even if they hate her for it.
2. Saving the Green hooded man, she has loved since childhood, - from the fate she knows could kill him.
