In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. [This is a rework of my first book ever, "What It Means To Be A Hero"] --- I do not own any claims/rights to the My Hero Academia verse, all rights go to Kosei Horikoshi. Everything was fine nothing was wrong and I was happy with my life. I still had a grandpa who is loving me and keeping an eye out on me as well as supporting my every move. I wasn't really a villain but a master thief. Still I made a name for myself and landed on the third place of the most wanted villains of all japan. Everything was really going on well if not for this cheeky hot bastard. Did I call him hot? Yes! If I would need to describe him then I would say a very well done maybe even burned chicken nugget. He looked that way at least. Then there was this look he was giving me. It was filled with loneliness and desires. I know he wants me but he is way too much for me. I have a feeling he will devour me whole if I give in but the temptation is really hard to resist. As if my life wasn't going on well with that new guy... I got caught by a certain sleep deprived coffee addicted hero too! GREAT RIGHT! JUST GREAT! I wonder what will happen next?! Will the world finally end? Let's find out! I might be delusional but am I not the main character here? And if not.... who cares! My life?....full of drama..... and entertainment so I can't complain on that one.... I am a deaf kid with a quirk that kinda doesn't make me deaf..... got kidnapped by villains at the age of four and decided life is kinda boring so I could try being a vigiliante... hitting it hard and getting stuck at being one....
