Suddenly, the white door to the right side of the room opens and I see Jared. He gets lead into the room by a guard wearing all black. I turn my attention back to Jared when he sits own on the opposite chair on the other side of the table. His expression was tired, but what caught my attention the most was a big burn mark on his left cheek.

I burned him.
