Shadow, Leviathan, Mastermind, Flare, and Shyft are part of one of the strangest bands of teens the world has ever known, and here's why:
Shadow can make herself vanish in the blink of an eye.
Leviathan can control all things that contain water, including humans, with his mind, and can change the state of matter of water.
Mastermind is young, but his brain is a living computer that holds all of the world's information.
Flare can shoot flames from her hands and can control fires not made by her.
And finally, Shyft can turn into any type of living creature (including plants) that has ever existed.
After discovering each other at a comic book convention, the five "Abnormals," as they've come to call themselves, decide to use their powers for the same things everyone's favorite superheroes would; to defeat evil and (at some point) save the world!

Alexia would call it a curse, because throughout her entire life she worried about someone finding out about it and taking her away. She was soon offered a place at what was called 'The School,' a place for people like her to learn about their powers. When she arrived though, she learned otherwise. She makes friends with the other kids, and they all join up against the scientists at the school, those that like to do tests and even experiments on them. Will the group ever escape the school?
