Parvathi Dinesh and Kartik Dinesh are the main characters in this story and we can also say that Malcolm the  psychopath is a main character. the story explains how Malcolm initially regarded Parvathi as a sister and he was just a "friend" but things took a swift turn to the lopsided way, Malcolm  fell in love with Parvathi to the point where he was literally obsessed with her.
