The Misfit is my second attempt at writing so give me a chance.
The Misfit is about a boy who grew up in and out of foster care not knowing his real parents. As he grew he started to see things differently it scared him and he was constantly taken to a therapist and put on ADHD medicine. One day he realized that it wasn't a over active imagination but psychic abilities but they came from the being within him the demon that is locked in his body as well.
The boy learns to accept the demon and they became acquaintances as the boy grew. Then the boys high school years rolled around and that's when they came for him.

No, he didn't leave this life the way I tell it in this story (it is, after all, a work of fiction), but he might have had things played out a little differently than they did. Childhood sexual abuse is alive and well in America and the larger world as well. Rodney and I lived it, and that basic fact served as the seed that made this story possible. Much of what you are about to read is true. Just as much is pure fiction. You'll get that (in spades) as the book progresses. The idea of another, better life waiting "out there" somewhere is a constant of most religions, but this is not a book about any religion or, really, the afterlife. Upon him growing him, he got into quite a lot of trouble that at one point he got banished from his homeland. He was looked down upon for being different from others. Banished from his relame he seeks for a fresh new future. He goes and seeks to another world to stay in being Midgard(Earth). Hoping for a better life.Complete

In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been editedComplete
