Althea Ashryver, daughter of Glaston Ashryver and the younger sister of Galan Ashryver, and hopefully the future War Leader of Wendlyn, decides to join The Silent Assassins of the Red Dessert for her further training. Her father writes a letter for his old friend, The Mute Master, and sends his daughter on her way with it. As she arrives at the keep, the Mute Master appoints his son to help her continue her training till he decides to train her. There she befriends Ansel of Briarcliff and Celaena Sardothien.
Unfortunate things happen with Ansel, and then she finds herself alone at the keep, with her friends on their way. But she isn't one to stop her training because she has no friends. So she continues her training. And is pretty certain that she'll be ready to lead the armies of her father.
And she's satisfied with what she has learned at the keep.
And she's done everything she was here for. Train from the assassins. Get the Mute Master's approval.

But there's one thing she's worried about though. She has let herself do something she wasnt supposed to. Falling in love.

A certain green eyed man has caught her eye. And the problem? He seems oblivious about it.
