*This is an AU of the 1944 movie Meet Me in St. Louis so I'll just briefly explain the changes.*
• the movie takes place in 1903-1904 but for my story it will take place during WW1 because I wanted to reimagine this story as if it were a war romance between Esther and John.
• Many minor things here will not be historically accurate but its sole purpose is just for my story, especially with the story being set in the years of WW1, but don't worry, I will give a disclaimer of them after every chapter.
• Although this story will be an AU, I will include some moments from the movie to help carry my story.

Christmas time has arrived in St. Louis and the Smith Family are excited, especially Esther. For she is now already halfway through junior year, and next year, she'll finally be a senior. Then after that, university. When that day comes, she'll finally be an adult.
However, throughout this journey to adulthood, she never expected she would fall in love. Especially with the boy next door.
One afternoon, Esther spies a handsome new neighbor in St. Louis who goes by the name of John Truett, a native of Brooklyn who just moved to St. Louis, and to Esther's surprise, will be transferring to her school in the spring.
As the feelings of these 2 people bloom from learning more about each other with each passing day, their relationship is tested with the interference of war, family traditions, and strict parents.
Can love truly conquer all?

Mom found out my "fiancé" is Seven, and now she is begging us to get married on Christmas! What do I do?! We haven't seen or spoken in years because we... had to discover life outside of one another. But what I never told him? I never wanted that. And now, I have to pretend we're happily together, and it's confusing my brain. I still love him. I crave him. I need him. A one shot about a romance revolving around a futuristic institute's cultural festival. As it is, even future soldiers have a normal high-school life. The story is set in the future, where children are trained from an early age, by the permission of their parents, (unless of course, they are orphans) to become Knights. They then become part of the military. Nina is such a child, who joined the V_ four years ago. She's infamous for her wild nature and blatant disregard of the rules and the Student Council. And then, by some blighted twist of fate, she finds herself a House Prefect. Enter Azerkin Schwann, suave, cool, mysterious and with a permanent train of fangirls. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath. And that's the least of her worries when Nina's fallen head over heels for Schwann. This is a work of fiction, and the characters introduced are purely fictional. Any resemblance in name or character is unintentional. Just sayin' since this is basically my first story using normal names and settings. The story is currently a one shot. At Last (Jikook) (Fri Oct 2nd - Sun Oct 4th)
Park Jimin, 20, a popular and ethereally beautiful dance student, and Jeon Jungkook, 18, a popular and incredibly handsome jock, have known each other as casual acquaintances since elementary school in Busan. Jimin had developed feelings for Jungkook in junior high, but the younger boy continually rebuffed him roughly, and with them being two years apart in school, Jimin was eventually able to force himself to bury his feelings. Now they are attending the same college in Seoul, not knowing the other is there, until fate intervenes to provide the perfect circumstance for them to finally find each other. This is a love story between two boys that will contain lots of very detailed sexual situations, not so detailed spanking scenes (because that's my favorite kink, but it gets boring to write and read 'whack whack whack' over and over :P), fluff, some pretty heavy angst, and as much BDSM as I can manage to write - however this is completely a love story, and I tend to be a romantic, so there won't be any of the 'Call me Master, or else stuff. It is mainly about Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin, but there will be other characters on-going that add bits and pieces to the story, and I may or may not include them in the first chapter of character information. NOTE: I have a very descriptive writing style, and tend to spend a lot of time trying to create scenes that have form and substance to them, whether what is being written is giving information regarding the characters, or for action including said smut, so be prepared (just this sentence should give you an idea about what I mean). Please don't steal my story, and, my ideas are my own, unless I've asked someone if I can borrow an idea of theirs that I particularly liked. I don't use those ideas exactly as they were presented by the original author, so I normally won't give credit for it, but, I will if I use something specific. Remember, my dear granddaughter, you are a Princess now but you will soon be a Queen who will rule with an iron fist and an empty heart." But was love truly a weakness? According to the stories that I have read and heard around the castle, love seemed to be something magical and incredible, especially if it was true love. So, how could someone determine it to be a weakness? It wasn't until I landed in Neverland that I had to find out the truth the hard way, in the most excruciating and heart-wrenching way possible. Yet, It was my fault after all, I decided to make a game out of it and someone else decided to use that to their advantage. If I was given the chance to change something from my past it would have been to prevent myself from all of the heartache that was to come.
