This book was originally published in 2016.
It's early March. Texan billionaire senior accountant, Jason Armstrong (SoMo, Joseph Somers-Morales) is in a jam. After a horrific flooding accident at his Texas estate, he needs a new suit collection for work. Luckily a high school friend and contractor Arthur (Tom Welling), can do the renovation on short notice. He's supposed to get married to Margaret Coolidge (Hayden Panettiere) in May and is without a tailor. His mother (Clarice) recommends a family friend, Mrs. Washington. Little did he know it was Aurora (JoJo, Joanna Levesque), Fiona Washington's daughter. She's loved Jason since high school, but he never returned the affection. They've kept in contact until she saw his marriage announcement in the paper in November. Her best friend Tiffany ( KeKe Palmer) wants to break up the engagement and help Aurora gain wealthy fashion clients. Will she be able to keep it together knowing he's marrying someone else? Upon seeing Aurora all grown up, Jason's feelings change. Will he realize what he's missing before it's too late?
This is a standalone novel.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
